2nd degree black belt Ian has been associated with Shaolin from the very beginning and had trained with the Chief Instructor even longer. He first qualified for his black belt in November 2002.

Eldest of four brothers, three of whom are Shaolin black belts, Ian is an excellent role model for our younger students, He loves to impart his knowledge. He’s particularly fond of the traditional syllabus, but is equally adept at teaching modern kickboxing techniques.

Indeed, He’s famed for his excellent standing and jumping kicks and for one of the most powerful overhand punches in the business. Beware if you have to hold pads for him!

He acts as assistant to the Chief Instructor at the Kings Langley class.
