Be warned. Unlike some martial arts organisations, we do not open a class for each of our black belts. Every one of our class instructors has to pass a rigorous teaching exam testing their knowledge of our system and health and safety practice. They have also each had to undertake First Aid and Child Protection training and to undergo an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service. Finally, Shaolin instructors have liability insurance cover provided through the auspices of The British Martial Arts & Boxing Association.
